1993 Mercedes 190E 2. 0 Automatic with just 63000 Miles. Its had 2 private owners and has a very comprehensive service history with 23 services noted. 16 of these were Mercedes Main Dealer. The car was first registered at John R Weir Mercedes, Grangemouth as a demonstrator and was sold to its first private owner at 2 months old who kept it for a further four years. During their ownership it was returned annually to the supplying dealer for a service. The second private owner bought it in 1997 and has had it ever since. The car has been maintained meticulously during his ownership and remains very original and in superb condition for its age. It drives better than my 5 year old beemer!!!
Body - The car looks all original and is really straight. Bumpers and grille are all in good order, as are the side mouldings. There are a few minor scratches / scrapes that have been touched up but overall for its age its cracking. Paintwork is lovely and looks really good in Bright Silver.
Mechanics - Service history speaks for itself. Car drives spot on and should continue to give someone years of service. Everything appears to work as it should.
Interior - Again all original and very tidy. Has had seat covers on for the last 28 years which we have removed to reveal mint original seats. Door cards, headlining and carpets are all in very good order.
Wheels - Original alloys which in the main are very good with the odd small mark. Tyres are very good.
This is a cracking old car which has been very well looked after by the two owners that have had it. It must represent great value considering some of the prices of other classics out there.
