For sale is my stunning, very tastefully modified 2012 Land Rover Defender 110 XS. With only 2 Keepers since Initial Registration at ‘Edenbridge Land Rover’, this Defender was previous owned by a Prestigious Architect, chartered by his wife for the school run and trips away all the way up until my ownership in November 2024. Albeit reading a rather moderate 127, 400 Miles, The Engine, Clutch and further assisting components received Brand New Replacements under warranty by Land Rover themselves at 58, 112 Miles, including turbo, injectors etc, meaning all running gear only has a mere 69, 000 Miles. Being an already highly cherished example, the car underwent a major mechanical and suspension service at 119, 000 Miles, alongside full Main Dealership History up until 64, 000 Miles and Independents since, making for the fresh and ready to go example presented today.
Being an XS Model, this Defender was optioned with the higher specification Heated, Half Leather Seats, Air Conditioning, Side Steps, Electric Front Windows, Remote Central Locking alongside the Facelift and the 2. 2TD Engine with a Six Speed Manual Transmission introduced in 2012. Alongside these, this example has been fitted with a Genuine Snorkel Top, Genuine Front Bar, as well as a few tasteful and subtle modifications with no expenses spared, thus including a full Set of 5 Genuine 'Twisted' Alloy Wheels, Terrafirma Full Roof Rack, Safety Devies Explorer Ladder. Most Notably, I had a Stage 2 Engine Remap professionally supplied and uprated Intercooler fitted by Empire Tuning in Colchester totalling £1430. These Engines are known to be jolty and reasonably slow, so this gave it the smoothness, refinement, power and MPG they most definitely need to be brilliant and enjoyable to drive vehicles.
The ‘Orkney Grey’ Paintwork presents in overall great condition, with minimal age related marks here and there but nothing untoward. The underneath has been very well preserved with no rust to note, and only minimal age expected ‘bubbling’ on the roof around the windows, alongside a few external bolts showing some minimal surface corrosion. The Interior is in superb condition throughout for a Defender - there is no damage to any of the leather of fabric on all 7 seats, besides some minimal lower bolster wear on the drivers side, alongside a few scuffs on the door sills and trim from boots over the years. To Flaw, the passenger heated seat is not engaging, and the rear seats were removed for boot space but still included in the sale. The Surround System has been uprated with rear speakers and both front, rear and boot genuine rubber floor mats are included.
Mechanically, this Defender 110 starts, runs, drives, stops absolutely faultlessly, with all 4 Tyres showing a good amount of tread. With the next service due at 131, 000 Miles, and a Valid MOT till 4th November 2024 (being advisory free besides a very minor oil leak) this Defender 110 XS is ready to be driven away and thoroughly enjoyed with its refreshed running gear, low owners, necessary power upgrade and highly tasteful and subtle specification.
