BMW 840 Ci E31 Manual 1994
A very rare opportunity to buy a factory Manual BMW 840, I purchased the car in 2023 as a barn find.
The car had been off the road since 2010, when i got the car it did not start and required a new fuel pump, I replaced both batteries and the auxiliary water pump as it had cracked.
Iv been through the car doing everything required to get it through an MOT.
A full service, including all the filters and oils replaced, including gearbox and differential.
New discs and pads all round and the calipers were sent off to be refurbished as they were seized and brake fluid replaced.
Fitted with a set of staggered M parallel wheels and new tyres.
The car is in overall good condition for its age but it’s over 30 years old and not in concourse condition, there are a few areas were there is some bubbling in the paint,
There is some surface rust around the front jacking joints, the interior headliner is tatty and could do with being replaced.
Outstanding faults that need addressing, the fuel gauge does not read correctly, possibility needs a new sender.
The blower motor is temperamental and probably needs replacing.
None of the issues will stop the car being used and enjoy and can be sorted in your own time.
