Description
MGB - A timeless British icon Launched in pre-production in 1962 as the successor to the MGA, the MGB quickly became one of Britain's most popular roadsters. Its elegant design, pleasant drive and surprising performance won over more than 500, 000 enthusiasts until production ceased in 1980. The model I am offering for sale for my friend is probably the first to be imported into France by JP RICHARD Paris 16éme in November 1962. This car has been fully restored to a very sound condition by an enlightened member of the Rétro Mobile Club du Castellet during 2023 with many original MOSS parts.
The engine with overdrive option and electronic ignition, carburetion, steering, braking redone with the addition of a brain brake, tyres, spoked wheels, complete paintwork in its original off-white colour with red leather interior, MG rubber carpets, "alpaca" soft top, exhaust. This car is very beautiful and in perfect working order. The running-in process, which began in the right way, is now complete, and the car is ready to roll with the coming summer. Why buy an MGB? Timeless design: elegant lines that always catch the eye. Affordable classic: reasonable entry price and readily available parts. Pure driving pleasure: light, agile and convertible. Active community: clubs, gatherings and events all over the world. Simple mechanics: ideal for personal maintenance and restorations.
