The car is a Rover Mini Cooper MPI, finished in British Racing Green with an old English white roof. It was first registered on 20th May 2000 through R. H. Collier & Co. Ltd in Birmingham, and had just 3 keepers last owner 3 years .
Owner 2 did extensive work on the car, in December 2013 was subject to a restoration by Old School Minis with invoices totalling over £6500 in repair works. The work carried out was to replace the front panel, wings, a-panels, door skins, bonnet lip, front floors and doorsteps, the car was then fully repainted to a high standard. In 2015 the car was treated to a 90BHP (dyno says 85 bhp) John Cooper S Works conversion kit by Mini Sport at a cost of approx £3000 with invoices and dyno print outs to prove this. Also in 2015, the car had a brand-new heritage rear sub frame fitted with new radius arms.

Owner 3 bought from Cambridge Mini Works in May 2022 for £14, 995, with invoice , it came with brand new Yokohama A539 165/ 60 R12 71H, less than 1800 miles covered over the last 3 years. Current mileage is 57000 will rise slightly as I it gets driven on sunny days . (S works fitted at about 49, 000). The car has always been garaged .
In addition what has been spent previously nearly £5000 more has been lavished by owner 3 on the car with various upgrades and repairs, including all NEW: Superfin rear drums, 5mm Rear Wheel Spacers, Mintex pads and shoes, all 4 cones and knuckle joints, rear hi-los (front ones were already fitted), rear radius arms, AGX EVO Gas Twin Tube Adjustable dampers all round, Radiator Expansion Tank and BMW cap, catalytic converter, upgraded 075 Exide Battery, Pioneer SPH-20DAB Single Din Car Stereo with Phone cradle and USB charger port.
Cosmetically many parts have been added.
A private plate (with a play on ‘Works’) which is included in the sale and some subtle back dating to give it a more period look, including a John Cooper Mota Lita Steering Wheel with a Wood and Pickett boss (and resister to keep the SRS light functioning correctly), KAD quick shifter, Full John Cooper billet door furniture set (handles, winders and openers), John Cooper billet seat pulls, dipstick, fuel filler cap, Oil temp gauge, voltage gauge, and red enamel badges, John cooper pedals , various Smiffys Bits chrome engine accessories, and Mk2 rear lights, stainless overriders, red anodised towing eye.
If the new owner wishes it would be simple to take the car back to original spec as I have kept all the original parts (2 boxes full) so if required you can refit the original steering wheel, stereo (with code), rear lights, wipers, wing mirrors, dampers, trumpets, gear stick, etc. There is also a few other bits, a brand-new KAD standard shifter, poly bush kits, spare CV boot, pin stripe and decal set (I removed the old ones to replace them but preferred the look without them), etc. Comes with original plastic boot liner, carpeted boot back, 2 x spare wheels, jack, spanner, locking nut remover, etc.
an oil and filter change at the end of last summer, 2024 , before putting away for winter, and it had new NGK plugs and the K&N filter cleaned and oiled may 2025 . it comes with a recent MOT. Please note there are 2 advisories to monitor and repair if necessary for minor corrosion around the suspension mounts. Speaking to the mechanic he said just treat the underside with Lanoguard and it will be fine.

This mini is definitely the nicest I have ever driven and will take you anywhere and back reliably.
