The FS1e is now part of modern culture, immortalized in song and in the moves, as THE bike the kids of the early 1970's longed for.
What we have here is something quite remarkable, it has been the subject of a superb no cost spared restoration and presents in 'as new' condition with the clock reset to practically 0 miles.
Acquired by MIS quite recently at auction cosmetically it was spot on and mechanically was fine although the front forks needed some attention for a leak and some fine tuning but the bike is now good to go. It is a credit to its former owner and restorer, we've not seen any better.
With the original FS1e's in this condition now fetching £8-£10k this even rarer motorcycle is something of a bargain, and is fully roadworthy (but you will struggle to see more than about 45mph on it) and very comfy returning we would imagine around 90 mpg.
