Description
The Mercedes-Benz W113 series was produced from 1963 to 1971. A total of 48, 912 units were made. The W113 replaced the R121 in 1963 and was succeeded by the R107 in 1971.
The chief designers were Paul Bracq and Béla Barényi.
The 230 SL (1963–1967), the 250 SL (1967) and the 280 SL (1968–1971) were available, with manual or automatic transmission.
Almost all models were supplied as standard with a soft top, but a hard top was available as an option. The hard top had a curved shape like a Chinese pagoda roof, which is why the W113 is also popularly called the Pagoda. A 2+2 coupé with a hard top was also available; instead of the soft top cabinet there was a fold-down bench.
This Mercedes presented here was delivered in the USA and came to the Netherlands in 1993. It has had only 1 owner in the Netherlands.
It is a beautiful car with a new hood and a new interior. This looks like new. Under the hood you can see the dry engine that always starts and runs perfectly. It is a very well-driving car equipped with an automatic gearbox. There is still a recent valuation report and a hard-top. This beautiful open car is offered for a very good price.
