This 1974 Jensen Interceptor MkIII represents the perfect fusion of transatlantic motoring character — a hand-built British grand tourer, powered by Chrysler’s legendary 440ci V8, and styled by the famed Italian design house Carrozzeria Touring. The Interceptor is an elegant, commanding presence on the road, equally at home on a winding coastal drive or a weekend concours lawn.
This example is from the sought-after MkIII range, which brought significant refinements over its predecessors — including improved ride comfort, better interior appointments, and revised bumpers to meet US standards. The MkIII also featured standard alloy wheels, air conditioning, and a more robust cooling system — all key enhancements that make this generation the most usable today.
Condition & History:
This Interceptor was subject to £20, 000 of restoration work at Cropredy Bridge Cars in 2005, including a respray & re-trim – as well as various upgrades – and has been kept garaged and well-cared for since.
