Again, an Airhead that I’ve had the pleasure of owning previously.
This one is a very smart, 1979 manufacture R80, that was imported in 1992. The chap i originally purchased the bike from had owned it for an amazing 21 years. Much of this time, the bike had minimal use, with the the most recent owner reviving the bike to its current well sorted condition. There has been much powder coating, stainless steel fittings, and recent full oil service, including engine, gearbox, shaft and bevel drive.
Fitted with some nice period accessories, including “S” style fairing (including factory clock and volt meter), Krauser panniers, bespoke rear rack, twin discs with new braided lines, modern tyres, etc, etc. the bike is off the button, hot or cold, and ready for those classic runs. Obviously Historic status, and HPI clear a of any accidents / insurance claims.
