Description
March 1999 model, LHD and supplied new by Arriva Vauxhall, Bristol - this means for your insurance etc its not an Import - its a UK model/ sold example.
Lady owned for the last 3 years by me and loved, covering c. 7, 000 Km during my ownership. The car currently shows just over 110, 911Km (c. 69, 000 miles only)
The car is the rarer, high performance Z28 version which means under the bonnet lays the Chevrolet 5. 7 litre LS1 V8 as found in the Corvette of the same year which develops 350Bhp (310Bhp officially - dealers were told it was "310Bhp so as not to upset Corvette buyers/ sales!) driving the rear wheels via four-speed automatic transmission with OD.
Unlike many American cars, this handles and drives really well with very good, accurate steering, excellent brakes and firm, but comfortable suspension - its not soft, vague or wollowy at all and is very fast with an epic sound track.
Finished in Green with Tan leather interior and sat (presently) on a set of staggered fitment BMW 18inch CSL style alloy wheels. The stock wheels are available should you prefer the original 16inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.
The car seats 4 adults with ease and has a decent boot, with electric boot release, electric windows, AC and traction control.
The private plate is to be retained, it will returned to T852FAN.
The history file includes the V5C in my name, 2-sets of keys, the owner's pack & service book showing 13 stamps (6 by Bristol Vauxhall, 7 by Bristol Autocare), the current MOT valid until 29th September 2025 showing no advisories, but can have a fresh not if needed, some old MOTs and a few bills for parts/ service including the last oil change in March 2025 and new battery in May-23.
A lovely and much loved car that's super rare, goes like stink and sounds epic. HPI clear.
