1987 D reg Ford Fiesta 950 Popular Plus with just over 11k miles showing.
Tucked away in a dry garage for over 30 years, this Fiesta is a real step back in time and is a must for any Ford collector or enthusiast.
It's in great overall condition with only the smallest of signs of age and use.
We have sympathetically recommissioned the car so it comes freshly serviced with a new 12 months MOT (its first for 30 years) and new tyres all round. I have kept the original Pirelli P4 tyres and they will come with the car.
Originally registered new at Doughertys Ford dealers in Runcorn in May 1987, before being traded in at the end of 1988 at Skyway Ford in Liverpool from where the second owner purchased it.
Believed to have been taken off the road sometime in 1993 when the owner stopped driving and there it remained untouched until this year.
Although I can't ratify the mileage as being 100% correct, you only have to see the cars exterior and interior to know its right. The car drives wonderfully well providing nippy performance from the little 950cc engine. The steering is light and gear change tight and positive. A joy to drive.
We have fitted a new switch so as the radiator fan can be turned on manually if required, and the petrol gauge isn't working but other than that the car is virtually as new.
Overall a real one off with this mileage.
Comes with the v5, original book pack and Ford brochures plus hand book and tax disks. The Fiesta is HPi clear.
