THE FIAT 500 GIARDINIERA
Born out of Italy's post-World War II reconstruction, the Fiat 500 was designed as an affordable, efficient vehicle to mobilize the Italian population. A symbol of simplicity, functionality, and Italian charm, the model became a much-loved icon of Italian motoring across the globe. The Giardiniera variant offered here was produced for those needing additional utility it features an elongated roof and a rear-mounted engine to allow a flat loading area. Its wider and taller design and unique rear hinged 'suicide' doors are a standout feature.

Same owner since 2011, this Fiat 500 Giardiniera has enjoyed over a decade of attentive stewardship. Originally finished in Bianco (Paint Code 233), it was repainted in a soft off-white shade during a recent cosmetic refresh. The interior was also reupholstered in black leatherette in 2024, adding to its charm and comfort.
Imported from Spain by the current owner, the car has benefited from thoughtful maintenance, including recent replacement of the ignition and valve control components. While the original engine was replaced at some point, the current unit remains true to its roots: a 499cc OHV inline 2-cylinder gasoline engine consistent with factory specification.
