2005 ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH S – ‘WORKS’ MANUAL GEARBOX CONVERSION (LHD)
This stunning, low mileage 2005 Vanquish S is rare to market, particularly in Left Hand Drive configuration, being one of circa 100 cars to have been converted to (6-speed) manual by Aston Martin Works Service.
Finished in the attractive colour combination of Jet Black over Obsidian Black hides. In addition to the usual Vanquish S refinements, additional optional extras specified with this car include; Silver brake calipers, body colour door releases, heated front seats, heated front screen, powerfold exterior mirrors, rear parking sensors, SatNav and 2+2 seating.
This 2005 model year example of Aston Martins then flagship car, was first supplied to Aston Martin Main Agents in Hamburg, Germany, Tamsen, before shortly after making its way to Japan. In 2015, it was imported to the UK, where it has remained registered since.
Whilst in Japan, servicing and maintenance was carried out by Aston Martin Osaha Hakko, on a total of 10 occasions. In 2019, with 19k km’s recorded, the car was sent to Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell to receive its 6-speed, three pedal, manual gearbox conversion, which was offered in response to the feedback of some owners who preferred the engagement a ‘stick shift’ manual provided, over the automated manual ‘paddleshift’ gearbox which was the standard equipment in the Vanquish S model.
On arrival at our premises, a comprehensive pre-sale inspection has been carried out, confirming that the car is in superb condition throughout. The paintwork being virtually unmarked and the interior still presenting and smelling like a new car!
The new owner will receive the vehicle with a full service, to the manufacturers schedule, full vehicle preparation and detailing, 12 months MOT and 12 months warranty.
Supplied with UK title, the history file contains a Certificate of Conformity from Aston Martin Lagonda, which will be useful should the next owner wish to register the car overseas, and invoice from Aston Martin Works, recording the manual gearbox conversion.
