1959 Morris Minor Traveller Series 3
This very early Traveller has recently been in the hands of 'West Ridings Classic Cars' (Highly recognised Morris Minor specialists in Halifax) umdergoing sensible upgrades bringing the car into the 21st century acheiving a far superior drive whilst retaining the loving Moggy characterful charm.
Approximately £18, 000 has been spent, all documented including a 1275cc A-Series engine paired with a 5 speed gearbox, brake servo, electronic ignition, new radiator, stainless steel four branch exhaust manifold, new stailess steel exhaust, upgraded carburettor and inlet manifold, sports Lucas coil starter solonoid, acuspark silicone HT leads, and full brake overhaul including new wheel cylinders, brake shoes , drums and brake pipes, new wiper motor recent new radial tyres.
The body and paintwork is exceptional with excellent front wings, doors etc with no signs of previous repair. The 'British racing green paintwork is higly polished with a deep depth of shine. The interior is excellent with very good original seats seats and headling, and recent new carpets. The under bonnet shows off the mechanical upgrades very nicely. The underside is solid and well protected also taken care of by 'West Ridings Classics' with many new panels to ensure the car will last for many years to come.
This Moggy drives very well, a huge improvement on a standard car!
All the bills, reciepts etc are with the car along with a workshop manual.
Classed as a historic vehicle it benefits from Mot exemption and free road tax, however however this Moggy has a full 12 months Mot with no advisories for your peace of mind.
The recorded mileage is 25000 miles, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the age of the car.
