This beautifully preserved and extensively restored Jaguar E-Type 'Series 1½' has benefited from documented professional restoration costing over £30, 000 while remaining authentic and well-cared-for. The car was supplied by Coombs' Chief Engineer, Ken Bell, as documented by invoices on file. The previous owner kept the E-Type from 1993 until 2021, a period nearly 30 years, and it then passed to the current owner.
'SLW 358F' has had only five previous owners from new, and the ownership record is clear and traceable. The car comes with extensive service history, with regular maintenance recorded throughout its life. The history file contains MoTs, 35 in number, commencing in April 1981 at 63, 967 miles and ending in July 2025 at 1, 136 miles, the odometer having gone 'around the clock' circa 2018 (the actual mileage from new is 101, 400).

Fitting of a new manifold and high-torque starter motor for enhanced reliability

Front seats refurbished with new diaphragms and detail work on original leather
