Hi Welcome to the advert for my rover 416 SLI
I've owned the car since February 2024

Had timing belt changed less than 15000 miles ago
5+ owners
Bodywork is average for age with rust creeping though on the arches, bonnet and passenger side door
Interior is again average for the age with slightly loose wood capping on drivers side
door
There's a small hole in the front passenger seat from a cigarette and both front windows need new regulators. I had a new windscreen fitted last summer because the old one had stone chips in it also the sunroof has stopped working
The car was in daily use until June this year as i bought another car so now doesn't get used that muchI bought the car because my uncle had a rover 216 gti and a 216 tomcat coupe when i was younger and I've always had a soft spot for the 400 saloon shape, I've really enjoyed owning this car, it's really fun to drive, I've taken it to a few shows and always had a good reception from fellow car enthusiasts.
It has the honda D series engine which has been reliable, and doesn't suffer from the usua rover k series head gasket issues. All in all it's been a pleasure to own
