Launched in 2007 the Audi R8 was one of the highlights of noughties performance motoring, the 414bhp v8 engined Audi was a revelation – performance to outpace Porsche and a balance to rival a Lotus – The original 4. 2 V8 R8 is a rewarding drive.
The Car we have on offer is finished in one of the best colour combinations IMO and presents beautifully, the paintwork is perfection - totally stone chip free, no scuffs, scratches or pin dents – needs to be seen to appreciate. The interior is finished in Anthracite Leather / Alcantara which has weathered the intervening years exceptionally well with little evidence of any wear with the seating remaining firm and in excellent condition. The Alloy wheels have been refinished to original OEM spec . Diamond Cut with Silver background (most have been sprayed all silver) and remain perfect – New Michelin Pilot 4S tyres have been fitted all round. Freshly serviced and with new tyres & geometry checked this example drives wonderfully – interestingly most R8’s were specified with the new Audi magnetic ride system but this one escaped which enthusiasts will know is a good thing!
It may not be the cheapest on the market but if you have the budget I would urge to to view this one I am confident it will be a head and shoulders above other similar aged / priced cars – genuinely hard to better.
