Description
This XK 140 has been completely restored from 2011 to 2016 by Meynard Bodyshop of St Lunaire. The chassis has been stripped to the bare metal, all corroded body parts have been replaced, and the car has been repainted in an original Jaguar colour (Pearl Grey). The interior upholstery is brand new in red Connolly leather.
The mechanicals have been rebuilt from scratch, front disc brakes have been installed, an electric fan, a high‑performance starter, servo‑assisted brakes with front and rear gas‑pressurised dampers, as well as an aluminium fuel tank, have also been installed; an oil filter modification has been made.
This XK 140 is presented in a Special Equipment finish featuring wire wheels, tripod headlights and dual exhaust.
A folder of invoices and restoration photos accompanies this Jaguar, together with its Jaguar Heritage certificate.
This Jaguar XK 140 has just benefited from numerous upgrades: five‑speed gearbox, lap belts, four‑spoke steering wheel with rivets, wooden gear knob, over‑mat, vintage radio, speakers with grille and electric aerial.
