Description
Beautiful Mercedes-Benz 200/ 8 automatic, second-hand. This is the early Strichacht generation with the classic 1960s features: small taillights, slim bakelite steering wheel, etc.
The vehicle registration document from November 1972 is still present. The first owner entry is a gentleman (born in 1922) from Karlsruhe.
From 2005 to 2014 the car was deregistered and displayed as a showroom piece in a car dealership. The second owner, a TÜV engineer, drove the car until 2025. He invested in servicing and wear-and-tear parts, as well as a front-axle and prop-shaft overhaul. A folder with numerous invoices is included.
The Mercedes features power steering, right exterior mirror, horn (fanfare), front headrests, automatic safety belts for front and rear, Becker radio "Indianapolis", a TomTom navigation device, and other lovely details.
The exterior colour is white. The brown interior is very well maintained. The mileage may be correct and original given the condition, but this cannot be verified.
The engine starts well and the car drives superbly. The / 8 was registered with an H historic-vehicle plate.
There are German vehicle documents, TÜV papers (06/ 26).
The sale is by order of the customer.
