Arthur Wheeler was a highly successful motorcycle dealer and racer, notable for his privateer exploits in GP racing
He competed in the Isle of Man Junior TT on a 350cc in 1949 and scored a win at Monza in the 250 class in 1954
This machine is believed to be one of his bikes, complete with a large history file containing numerous documents, letters and photographs
247cc OHC single-cylinder engine, Reynolds frame and 4-speed gearbox
Purchased from Arthur Wheeler and has remained in very original condition, albeit now has Norton forks
Sold in 2005 from Murrays Museum on the Isle of Man and now restored to its current condition by our vendor
An important piece of Italian and UK motorcycle racing history and presented in running order
