Here for sale is a great entry point into classic, air cooled 911 ownership. This example is a 1982 Porsche 911 Targa with the all important manual box.
Finished in a beautiful colour scheme of Iris blue metallic over a Navy leather interior it certainly would look the part sauntering down the Côte d’Azur or just down the local pub!
Equipped with the ‘Purist’ choice of 5-speed manual gearbox (915), this is a pure driver’s car and is the perfect mix of classic looks and usability. It’s a Porsche! The shift action is positive and mechanical, and combined with the flexible 3. 0L engine, it delivers a wonderfully engaging drive whether you’re on British B-roads or powering down the autobahn.
Mechanically, the car performs well and drives well. The current owner has spent over £15k on it in his ownership!
The ODO indicates just shy of 38k miles but this is not warranted due to the lack of evidence - we believe the clocks may have been changed - typical for this era of 911 as the plastics degrade inside.

The engine rebuild was done by local specialists ‘Pie Performance’ and many of the other works have been carried out by Paul Stephen’s workshop and Pie Performance.
Despite this, the car is by no means perfect. It’s a classic, unrestored example and is offered as an ongoing project by our client. It features some oil leaks round the engine - this is the main fault with the car. The exterior presents well with minor marks as does the interior but could benefit from titivation to make really lovely.
