1960 Land Rover Series 2 88" Soft Top Restoration Project

First Registered 14th December 1960. Supplied new in North Wales to the first owner who had the vehicle for 51 years, it was then sold to the next owner who had the vehicle from 2011 until we acquired the vehicle in 2020. We have had the vehicle in dry storage for the last 5 years. With the intentions of doing a full restoration. However it is a vehicle that we haven't got around to and we haven't been doing as many full restorations over the last couple of years. So think now is the time to let this go and somebody else do it.
It is a very original and complete 1960 Series 2. Bronze Green with matching wheels.
Registered on a new style V5 document with its original registrant number XCA 169.
The vehicle will require extensive recommissioning, so all the usual things, brakes, electrics, running gear. It will want new footwells fitting to the bulkhead. The chassis will also require some repairs.
Untouched projects like this are getting harder to find and this will make a great vehicle once done.
This is a restoration project and is being sold as such. We can help with delivery at £2. 00 per mile plus vat.
