On offer we have this truly stunning Yellow Ducati 748R, No. 114, recently imported from Japan. This is the Mk 2 version with Öhlins front forks and rear suspension . Mileage is only 32, 444km or around 20, 276 miles. This bike will be supplied with a full service including new tyres, battery, brake pads, all fluids and genuine Ducati timing belts and filters etc. New alternator and Regulator/ Rectifier just fitted A beautiful example of this stunning Yellow version that comes with a 12 month warranty, 12 months Mot and registration on an age related plate
“The Ducati 748R is a top of the range model, Ducati’s racing homologation model produced only in very limited numbers. This engine was again a derivative of the SPS model but with more tuning. The main difference is that the R model has an overhead shower-injector arrangement compared to the 748E and S model’s traditional throttle bodies, titanium connecting rods, titanium valves and more extreme valve timing. As such, the 748R has a larger, two-part airbox and thus the frame was also different in order to accommodate this. The suspension choice was Öhlins for both the rear shock and front forks, The engine included a very basic slipper clutch to ensure that this would then be homologated for use in racing, as well as an oil cooler.”

- Revised frame to fit a larger two-part airbox.
- Race-derived Öhlins suspension front and rear (instead of Showa).
- Lightweight five-spoke Marchesini wheels.
- Single-sided swingarm and monoposto (single-seat) layout.
- Legacy: The 748R was considered the pinnacle of the 748 line.
