1967 Ford Mustang GT 390 FIA —
Monte Carlo replica 1967 Chassis: 7T01S205662 French registration certificate • FIA technical passport • Faithful replica of the Mustang entered in the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally by Ford France driven by Johnny Hallyday • Full restoration by Bullit Racing in 2007 • Authentic base of GT 390 Hardtop (S-Code) • Several participations in the Monte Carlo Historique The Ford Mustang has embodied since its launch in 1964 the spirit of American muscle cars, combining power and assertive styling. The 1967 GT 390 version, equipped with a 390 ci V8 with four-barrel carburettor developing 320 horsepower, is one of the most iconic variants, particularly for its rally involvement. The example presented is a faithful replica of the Mustang entered by Ford France during the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally edition. Built at the Metuchen plant (New Jersey), it is a genuine GT 390 Hardtop S-Code, prepared in the spirit of the official cars. It benefited in 2007 from a full restoration entrusted to specialist Bullit Racing, carried out without budget constraints and accounting for more than €50, 000 in works. The shell was completely stripped and rebuilt, while the mechanicals were carefully revised and prepared for FIA competition, in compliance with the Group 1 homologation sheet. With an FIA technical passport, this Mustang has already taken part in several editions of the Monte Carlo Historique, confirming the quality of its preparation and reliability. Its presentation faithfully reproduces the period livery used by Ford France, while incorporating the technical elements required for eligibility in regularity or competition events. This example represents a rare opportunity to tackle historic events aboard an authentic GT 390 prepared to the highest standards, combining American power with the history of European rallying.
