Description
1993 Rover Mini British Open Classic – 40, 000 Miles – £7, 250
A lovely example of the Rover Mini British Open Classic, showing just 40k original miles and presented in its iconic British Racing Green with factory cream interior. This special edition was produced to celebrate The British Open golf championship, and came equipped with a full-length folding sunshine roof and premium interior touches, making it one of the most desirable special editions of the era.
This car comes with its original brochure, retains its original seats and interior, and the sunroof operates perfectly. A genuine low-mileage example that has had all welding professionally completed, leaving it solid throughout and ready to enjoy.
Recent work includes two new tyres, and the Mini comes with a fresh 12-month MOT. A private British Open registration plate is included in the sale.
HPI Note:
The vehicle shows an old VIC Pass marker, meaning it underwent a Vehicle Identity Check in 2007. This was a routine DVSA inspection used at the time to confirm the car’s identity after previous damage or substantial repair. The car passed the check, and this is now a historic marker only — the VIC scheme itself has long since been discontinued.
