Finished in its correct Triumph colour of Magenta with lovely Black upholstery and correct Rostyle wheels, the Stag has arrived with us completely on the button and driving superbly.
First registered in June 1973, this Automatic example has led a very sheltered life. For many years the car was in warmer climates. The Arboleas region of Spain. As result, the car is structurally excellent, and it clearly demonstrates a high level of originality.
The Giovanni Michelotti designed bodywork draped in the beautiful bright shade of Magenta has an outstanding curb appeal. Complimented well with a beautifully re-trimmed upholstery and new mohair soft top hood, the Stag offers a very enjoyable open top motoring experience. The Triumphs well-serviced 2997cc V8 engine pulls strongly with enhanced performance from the Weber carburettor and the Borg-Warner Model 35Gearbox transitions smoothly through the gears. Performing in very impressive condition, DEE 353L epitomises the design brief of a stunning British grand tourer.
Accompanying the Triumph is a comprehensive history file full of hundreds of invoices from the Triumph Parts specialists Rimmer Brothers detailing meticulous maintenance throughout the last 25 years. Most recently, the Stag has benefited from a thorough strip, clean, and tune of the Weber 38 DGMS carburettor, new cam cover gaskets, a brake master cylinder overhaul, an ignition service and engine service. This is a very strong car, it's proven reliable, drives incredibly well and is ideal for regular use, long distance touring and historic events, shows and car runs.
