BMW Series 3 (E30) Cabriolet Baur TC 318i 1. 8 L 115hp Collection
THE UNUSUAL CABRIOLET!!! Throughout the previous generation of the 3 Series, the E21, BMW never envisaged a cabriolet derivative, preferring to leave this unprofitable endeavour (at the time) to a well-known subcontractor, the coachbuilder Baur. With the late-1982 launch of its successor, the E30, history seems to repeat itself: no cabriolet derivative appears to be planned. Immediately, Baur gets to work to offer on the same model as the E21 the Baur TC a convertible version of the E30 named, of course, TC2. A Cabriolet, a kind of Targa version maintaining a certain rigidity of the whole while allowing air to flow in!
