This Lotus Elan +2S is a 'time warp' car recently come out of over 40 years dry storage, requires a minimum recommissioning to make usable. In rare factory 'Wedgewood Blue'. This is one of the most original and nicest Elan +2's I have seen for a long while. The car has all the desirable and rare parts still in tact with excellent original chassis, body work, running gear, chrome work and especially interior and has all the correct 'S' type features. Because of the long term storage and low ownership the car has stayed in remarkable 'factory' condition with excellent panel fit. The carburettors were rebuilt several years ago and when fitted to the car the car started first time and engine runs with good oil pressure (but will need tuning and final fettling), incredible given storage time. Compressions checked and all showing approximately 178. Excellent car for the discerning Lotus collector/ enthusiast.
