Not only one of the most investable modern classic Renaults, but also dubbed one of the best hot hatches of all time. All 500 182 Trophy’s were produced in a fantastic Capsicum Red and included upgrades such as Sachs remote reservoir dampers and Recaro interior.
This unrestored example has been in current ownership since 2013 where it has been dry stored and only covered around 2000 miles in the last 13 years with its odometer reading just under 50, 000 miles from new backed up by MOT history and service invoices. Having just had light recommissioning including a new rear caliper for MOT, replacement Sachs dampers and new Cambelt kit with pulleys (inc Dephaser) and Aux belt kit with tensioners, the car drives superb on the road. Having been kept in the dry both the bodywork and underside present well for an unrestored car with just some minor imperfections but very straight panels all round. The interior is also in good condition with the benefit of air conditioning and cruise control. There is minor wear to the heat controls (New control unit included in sale) and driver’s seat. The wheels could benefit from a refurb and boot struts replaced if you are looking to create a perfect collector car. It has a carbon splitter and KTEC Racing exhaust back box.
