Sold new in Italy in 1991 to a portuguese lady that worked on Cruise ships. Was imported to Portugal by 1998 when the lady returned to her country. Later, She sold the car to brother, a truck driver of long distances. This means that over its life this car was barely used.
When I bought the car the engine was not starting. It was out of road since about 2018. It has passed by an extensive mechanical work, because it was noticed the engine was knocking due to had been running at low oil pressure.
By that time, the head gasket was replaced, such as new timing belt, water pump, brake pads, spark leads and plugs, oil and filters, front shock absorbers, and so on.
The paint was faded, a common issue of the red cars of this era. Initially the car was partially polished to keep the original paint, but the it will never look as good as intended, so it has had a paint job. It was properly disassembled for a good quality paint, and the car had not rusty spots.
The 114. 000 km shown on the odometer can be proven by the MOT records.
