1999 Jaguar XK8 Convertible – California car – project with solid base
California-delivered Jaguar XK8 Convertible with 77. 570 miles, recently imported to the Netherlands. Offered as a cosmetic project with a straight and solid body. Sun exposure has caused clear coat failure on bonnet, boot lid, rear wings and windshield surround, requiring partial repaint. Rear bumper has minor paint damage.
Mechanically the car starts, runs and drives well. Recently brought back to life with a fuel pump replacement. Engine currently in failsafe mode (not diagnosed). Good oil pressure, no abnormal smoke or noises. VIN report shows regular service history (2018–2022).
Convertible top works properly. Soft top needs cleaning. Headlights require refurbishment/ replacement. Interior in Kashmere beige shows wear consistent with age (driver seat cracks, carpets need cleaning). Supplied with factory manuals and 3 keys (1 remote).
Interesting XK8 project with good fundamentals.
EU import duties paid. Supplied with California title reassignment document and EU import documents.
