Description
HERE is a 1961 BMW Isetta 3-wheel "bubble car" which is being offered as a project although the bulk of the car is in one piece and looks to be solid. It is the preferable 300cc model too with sliding windows.
The steering wheel and "dash" both pop out of position when the front door is opened. Engine appears to be complete. Chassis and floors look solid. There is what looks like a brand new chrome front bumper, vinyl sun roof, two new tyres, various lights and seals. Both front and rear screens are there too.
It belonged to an elderly chap who just couldn't manage to finish it. There are receipts in its file from the past few months and all from an Isetta specialist.
Please come and view rather than ask me questions I may not be able to answer. It is a project and probably not too difficult for the DIY man. Two brand new tins of paint are with too. Light blue and white. There is th original buff log book and numbers match the plate on the car.
