The car was originally a Toyo Cup Car and seems to have raced in the 2012-2013 seasons. It was then garaged from 2015-2018 by a new owner who raced it once at Silverstone in 2018. Before sale earlier this year the owner was advised to make it road legal, opening the market up for more buyers. The current owner has not tracked it at all and enjoyed it on the road. But with V5, it could also be used for rallying with some changes. With a house purchase looming the toys have to go.
A really well built, and well-presented car with a clean, solid shell and all the right bits. Safety equipment would need to be updated if you wanted to compete, but it’s a great track car as well. According to previous owner documents the engine was rebuilt in 2012 and then again in 2022. On its current engine it has done two trackdays and some road miles. We can only assume the milometer was zeroed when the car was converted to a race car.
