Description
This 1951 Morgan Plus 4 is in stunning condition throughout, and has significant historical importance. Driven by factory test driver Charlie Curtis in 1950, and confirmed in his personnel log and other factory records, as being the first left hand drive in the series and the first to be exported.
Presented in its original Green livery with black interior and weather equipment, she really is a sight to behold.
After being repatriated in the early 1990’s she underwent a total rebuild by Phaeton Engineering of Emsworth to include but not limited to-

New ash frame etc immersed in Cuprinol.
New aluminium body panels and bonnet (all ex factory).
All of this assembled using the latest mastic sealants, rust inhibitors and protective coatings.

Painted Connaught Green with wings off and separate green wing beading fitted.
Full stainless exhaust system including flexible down tube through chassis.

The inefficient and messy standard Morgan oiler system from the engine was replaced with the discrete Phaeton closed greaser system. The list goes on!
I honestly don’t believe there can be a nicer Flat Rad Plus 4 available at the moment, she’s beautiful!
Since completion she has only covered some 13, 000 miles , winning many trophies along the way. She is an absolute pleasure to drive and has absolutely no trouble keeping up with modern traffic. I’ve driven her over 150 miles this week alone, as I can’t get enough of driving her!
A sound investment and a great addition to any collection.
