Description
I’m selling my Beetle in a condition close to new because I unfortunately don’t have time to enjoy it, and I’d like to pass it to an enthusiast who’ll take good care of it.
It’s a vehicle I acquired in 2014, when it was already a used car, so I’m the 3rd owner with a full history, and I also have the conformity certificate issued in 1973 at the time of purchase.
Subsequently I carried out a complete restoration of the vehicle and I have a full photo dossier. The chassis was fully stripped, epoxy-painted. During the restoration I replaced almost all parts while preserving as closely as possible its original look.
The Marina Blue shade is original, the upholstery was originally houndstooth, but finding the original fabric I opted for a beige faux leather that really gives the interior some character. The front seat springs have been fully restored.
Genuine whitewall Firestone tyres fitted, including the spare wheel, with white body seals to match the look.
It’s a 6V original car, runs very well and is perfect for short drives. A battery cut-off switch has been installed behind the rear bench.
Always kept dry indoors, I should add that I restored this vehicle with the aim of keeping it long-term, so it isn’t a restoration aimed at chasing a quick profit.
Don’t hesitate to contact me for more information.
