Description
Here we have my 1969 Rover P5b saloon. Only selling as we need to down size the collection. I bought the Rover in April 2025 and it’s hardly done anything since. It is stored in a classic car facility with our other cars and I’ve come to the realisation that i don’t have time for it. I have quite a bit of history on the car which includes a restoration in 2015/ 16. This included new inner and outer sills, new D posts and door bottoms and a full respray in the original Silver Birch. The front and rear seats were re-trimmed in black leather by Vamped of Kent at a cost of £1561. New flint grey carpets and underfelt. I have now added to this with a re-trimmed rear parcel shelf, re-trimmed switch panel and rear grab handles. The front suspension and steering box were rebuilt, new brake lines and hoses, new electronic ignition and a stainless steel rear silencer. Apart from starting it and driving it around the storage facility once or twice a month to keep things moving, it’s hardy done anything. The paint is still holding up well apart from some cracking/ lifting on the rear door. One or two bubbles here and there but nothing too bad. I can take more pictures if you are miles away or you can come and have a look for yourself. All in all it’s a good solid P5b saloon that’s ready for the show season or maybe use as a daily! Open to offers, price is only a guide.
