This Saab 900 is the 3rd Saab in my life, the first two when I was a boy at school in Kent. As a family we always lusted after a 16v turbo convertible in black. Although higher millage than I expected it is defiantly the best I test drove before buying.
As a family we have used our Coony as a weekend treat car but daily on the last week of term in the summer build up to school summer holidays.
I have fed the leather every year, new colour matched floor carpet mats, it has 2 x new Alcantara door and 2 x matching rear side trim cards to replace the older fabric ones, 2 x new ignition keys. It still has the its glass fibre hood cover. There is an exhaust section that bolts in line to replace the cat converter that sounds great too. The wheels are in very good restored condition and 5 x excellent tyres.
The double lined electric hood is perfect and the only thing I have replaced other that mentioned is one cracked tail light and the electric arial.
Their is a Kenwood CD Stereo with handsfree coms and a concise history file
Genuine 141000 not 15100 miles as earlier saidI bought the best one I could find after 6 months of looking for my wife's 40th. This is the second Saab 900 she has owned. The last one was also a covetable but in Auckland NZ when she was 19yrs old.... everyone need to time travel.
The local Saab specialist just serviced the car for this summer use. On collection, as it was the first time he'd seen the car, he said it was apparent it was a very good example, confirmed rust free, replacement front bushes. One of the nicest examples he have seen for many years also.
