I’m selling my Pulsar GTIR, a real JDM (right-hand drive) with a spotless history.
In Europe it’s sold under the name Sunny GTi-R.
A mechanical refresh worth around €10k has just been carried out by a specialist in Japanese sports cars. This includes:
1/ Chassis & running gear:
- Replacement of all fluids, gearbox oil, diff oil, engine oil with NISMO oils (by Motul), power steering fluid, coolant with Motul additive, RBF600 brake fluid,
- Refurbishment of the power steering hoses,
- Inspection and replacement of the transmission driveshaft components (3 rear driveshafts from stock are supplied with the car),
- Replacement of all 6 rear trailing arms with adjustable arms on spherical rubber bearings (new front lower arms supplied),
- Replacement of the front and rear anti-roll bar link rods and replacement of the anti-roll bar bushes,
- Replacement of engine and gearbox mounts,
- Replacement of the braking system: new front 6-piston calipers, performance discs and pads, new hoses, plus refurbished front and rear OEM calipers supplied like-new,
- Suspension refresh with TDMI coilovers (street/ track),
- 15-inch Nissan JDM wheels with Yokohama AD08RS tyres in 195/ 50R15,
- Nissan spare wheels and tyres,
- Removal of the rear subframe for surface rust treatment.
2/ Engine:
- Fitment of an stainless steel de-catalyser,
- Refitting of an original Nissan airbox,
- HKS exhaust,
- HKS DUMP valve,
- Replacement of the fuel pump (Deatschwerks), original: HS,
- Replacement of the engine injectors (Deatschwerks), original: HS supplied,
- Replacement of the fuel pressure regulator (Nismo), original supplied,
- Replacement of the MAF with a Z32 (original supplied),
- Replacement of the ECU with a Power FC plus Commander (original supplied), 256bhp on original boost pressure,
- Replacement of iridium spark plugs,
- Throttle body settings and checks,
- Replacement of coolant and vacuum hoses (including the ones that are hard to reach behind the intake),
- Removal/ refitting of the inlet manifold to replace the gaskets,
- Replacement of engine gaskets (per Nissan service/ revision).
3/ Interior:
- Original seats in good condition,
- Original steering wheel currently being refurbished,
- Original gear knob,
- Original stereo (missing tweeter/ speaker).
Interior is generally quite clean.
4/ Exterior:
Bodywork in fair condition: rust on the wings and quite a few scratches.
It really deserves a full respray.
This is a ridiculously effective and reliable car—really great for long trips.
