This beautiful 1979 MG B Roadster has remained in the same husband-and-wife ownership for the past 46 years. Following the sad passing of her husband in 2022, his wife commissioned an extensive £10, 000 restoration in his memory, resulting in what we believe is one of the finest MG B Roadsters currently available for sale.
Over the last four years, the car has undergone significant restoration and mechanical upgrades, including an upgraded Ivor Searle 2 litre balanced engine, electronic ignition, a new 12V battery, and an electric cooling fan.
The interior has been fully refurbished to an exceptional standard, featuring walnut door cappings and dashboard, green door cards and carpets, and an upgraded wooden steering wheel. The car is fitted with a four-speed gearbox with overdrive operating in both third and fourth gears.
