This car has been the subject of a full mechanical nut & bolt rebuild over the last two years at considerable cost, a more comprehensive list of the work carried out can be emailed to any interested parties but the main items are as follows:
Chassis stripped, bead blasted, repaired & powder coated, new suspension bushes all round, new Avo adjustable coil overs, new brake master cylinder, pipes/ fittings, rear cylinders, callipers & discs, gearbox overhauled with new bearings & selector rings, engine stripped & rebuilt with new bearings & rings, larger inlet valves, hardened seats fitted to exhaust valves, ported head & inlet manifold, fast road cam shaft, balanced crank, flywheel & pulley, lightened flywheel, new water, oil & petrol pumps, new stainless steel exhaust manifolds linked to full stainless exhaust system, new aluminium fuel tank, the list goes on.
The engine mods. were carried out by Essex engine specialists 'The Car Clinic' & all the work has been carried out by a professional engineer.
The interior has not been reupholstered but is in good condition, the body has no signs of accident repair, the paint work is in good condition having undergone a respray sometime in the past. All five original tee slot alloys have been refurbished to as new condition & are well shod.
The MOT runs untill August 2012 & tax untill February 2012.
