Description
A totally original two owner motorcar.
Options include red piping on black leather, electric sunroof, a/ c, 5 speed manual, First registered in the UK in 1991 and I bought it from Hendon Way in London during 2002 when it had 28K miles covered. I have never competed in or taken part in track days and the motorcar is known to the Porsche Club of Ireland.
Major items that have been replaced during my ownership are;
Clutch
Flywheel (dual mass)
Steering rack
Main oil pipe
Main oil seal
Discs
The motorcar has had all required services.
In order for the motorcar to be in concours condition the following items would need to be addressed (a few days work and consequently, reflected in the price);
1 Small engine oil seepage between cambox and barrels 4/ 6
2 Underneath engine and gearbox cover missing
3 Exhaust shield missing
4 Small oil seepage from rubber pipe to oil tank
5 2 X Front steering rack boots need replacement
6 Front diff seals seeping
7 Brake Fluid needs to be changed
8 Some play in front drop links
9 Rear shocks need replacing (weeping slightly)
10 Tyres need replacing
11 Front Brake pads need replacing
12 Sunroof not opening
13 Wiper blades
14 Interior mirror not on screen
15 Imob key fob faulty
16 D/ s seat electrics not working
17 1 x interior Seat handle missing
18 Interior light not working
19 Radio not working
20 No tool kit or lock nut
21 Some condensation in rear lamp
22 exterior mirrors not operating fully
23 Car needs major service before been driven brake discs rusty
24 Car possibly needs full repaint for showroom condition as some rust on lower Q panel, a little rust under headlamps. Small dent on door and on bonnet. Everywhere else is totally rust free and the there has never been any accident damage.
The car (which is kept at my house in Dublin Ireland) looks fantastic and goes, stops and steers perfectly. I am willing to accept a sensible offer but am not willing to 'give it away'. It is a unique, genuine low milage 964 and although it needs a bit of attention it will take very little to have it in perfect condition. For what it's worth, the first owner was Damon Hill's Mum!
