Registered on the 11th of May 1962 this late model 100 is in exceptionally original condition & has had just five former keepers all of whom have maintained it well & it has always been in regular use & covering a small annual mileage. The speedometer failed in 2007 when reading 83. 694 miles & a new unit was fitted with a zero reading, now at 2, 762 miles the correct & apparently genuine mileage is now 86, 694 & supported by an extensive history file.
A recent change that the DVLA have made is to allow anyone to search a vehicles previous MOT history online going back for the last ten years & this particular car has a super clean history with just one advisory item in 2007 for slight play in a drag-link ball joint, as one would expect of such a superbly maintained vehicle the advisory item was fixed before it's next test. In August of last year a full service was carried out. It has 4 matching Hankook radial tyres in the correct modern equivalent size 185 80 15. It's next MOT is due on the 9th of July this year.
One of the nicest features of this car is just how original it is with all original chrome & mostly original paint, the green leather interior has the desirable optional extra of separate front seats & is in quite remarkable condition, only a small deteriorated part of the front passenger side carpet & the lack of the two touch-up sticks from the otherwise complete tool tray are the only obvious defects. This car also benefits from it's original (transferable) registration number valued at £1200.
