This Rolls Royce Silver Wraith by H. J. Mulliner of Chiswick, has had a small fortune spent on it in recent years. The previous but one owner entrusted the car to Mr. Ian Pinder at noted marque specialists RR & B Garages of Bromsgrove. No less than £87, 000 was spent on the car there addressing a huge variety of works & at the same time re-trimming the interior & refinishing the woodwork to a stunning standard. In addition to the works by RR & B a further £28, 000 has been spent by the last owner, a qualified engineer, on renewing the rear axle with a longer ratio for more relaxed cruising & going through the suspension in its entirety.
Other recent works include new bushes & pins to the rear suspension, restored shock dampers, new suspension bushes, rewound dynamo with sealed bearings, new water pump, rebuilt carb, new dual fuel pump, Petronix electronic ignition, new exhaust, New Brake linings & cylinders, new radial tyres, Battery Isolator switch, etc etc etc; the lists & bills are exhaustive.
The car is finished in royal colours of maroon over black. The paint has been freshly done & presents beautifully. The black has just a small tint of metallic tint to it; the burgundy is a nonmetallic colour. With the paint being new it looks gorgeous.
The body takes the form of a rare Sedanca allowing for alfresco motoring up front, whilst being sumptuously appointed to the rear. The front seats are brand new black hide as when new & likewise the rear has been retrimmed to a beautiful standard in grey West of England wool cloth piped in blue. New maroon carpets complete the ensemble.
This is a car that needs nothing as attested to by the thick history file coming with it. The money has already been spent. The coachwork is particularly desirable being well suited to the owner-driver as well as attending to more formal duties.
