A TOTALLY RUST FREE AND TOTALLY ORIGINAL VERY LOW MILEAGE sub 49K genuine miles Mercedes CLK 430 Elegance coupe in a rare stunning Quartz Blue colour with an as new undamaged light grey leather interior (one of the nicest colour combinations in my view and nice and light inside). The car still has its original dealer number plates and tax disc holder! This car makes a fabulous sound and puts a smile on my face every time I drive it! - I had an E430 Saloon previously and missed that lovely V8 engine - this car feels much more lively than it did. This must be the lowest mileage CLK 430 currently for sale anywhere?
This car was originally bought by an elderly gentleman as a retirement present to himself in 2001 and was used sparingly for 14 years by him in the UK and Spain and generally stored in a garage hence its great condition. The car has paperwork to show it has been regularly serviced with MB dealers and MB specialists.
The CLK 430 model is a VERY RARE MODEL and was EXTREMELY expensive when new - around £50K for this car!
The 430's V8 engine is in a different league to the smaller V6 engined cars - it has 30% more bhp and 50% more torque making this car's performance effortless. Mercedes upgraded the suspension and brakes on these cars to handle the additional performance. These cars deliver the same muscle car driving experience of a modern Ford Mustang BUT with Mercedes engineering!
The 430 model is only marginally slower (same top speed) than the CLK 55 AMG model. Despite being a V8, this car is surprisingly economical when driven with some restraint - I have had over 33mpg out of it on long high speed runs, which I think is excellent for this size of engine.

When I acquired the car last year, I had new front upper and lower front swivels fitted to the car and a new steering damper (all genuine Mercedes parts)for its MOT - these cars seem to like these consumables. The car has had new air, pollen and fuel filters fitted this year and is not due a service for a while yet.
The car looks very presentable but does have a few very minor age related marks on the rear bumper from parking incidents/ shopping trolleys BUT NO RUST. The car has only been used as my weekend toy during my ownership.
The car came with an interesting single digit number plate which has been valued at between £800 to £1, 000.
