The BMW E46 is the fourth generation of the BMW 3 Series range of cars, and was produced from 1998 to 2006. The body shell of the E46 was claimed by BMW to be 70% more rigid than its E36 predecessor, and aluminium was used for an increased quantity of suspension components, to decrease its unsprung mass. 20kg was also removed from its sound deadening to aid the weight reduction programme!
The 330 Ci produced an impressive 228hp from its M54B30 6-cylinder engine, and a huge 300Nm of torque. The E46 was the first 3 Series to be available with an engine using variable valve lift system -Valvetronic.
Supplied by Harry Fairbairn BMW Glasgow in June 2002, it also benefits from a full service history, original handbook pack, spare key set, and will also be supplied with a new MOT and a 12- month written warranty, with roadside assistance. The Club Sport still smells like a brand-new car, and will delight any enthusiast.
