I am selling my newly restored SWB Landy as another project is waiting in the wings. I would like it to go to a good home and a nice warm & dry garage.

Negative earth .
The car is showing 5250 miles on odometer and I believe this to be original (ie 105250). I have the original service book showing it had f. s. h until 1978 taking it to 35000 miles then another stamp in 1985 at42000. Mot tickets then suggest it turned 100k in 1997 and remained low until it came off the road in 2002
The engine and gearbox are original to the car.
The car has been off the road for the last 17 years (dry stored) and I bought the car knowing it needed a lot of T. L. C but didn’t expect to replace nearly everything to bring back to former glory. Now only completed approx. 15 miles since MOT.
Fully restored nut and bolt (including stainless fittings as necessary )by myself over last 9 months. Original spec vehicle in keeping with the history of Land Rover. I’ve restored Landrovers in the past and this one, by no means, is the best I’ve seen for a long time. Below is a breakdown of what works have been carried out but the list is not exhaustive.
New Galvanised Chassis by Richards
Original 3 bearing Engine :
Fully dismantled. Bores honed to +0. 20 thou but crank was perfect and bearing shells replaced as matter of course albeit original shells were unmarked.
New Engine Oil & Filter

New electronic ignition including distributor
Reconditioned original Solex Carburettor
New fuel tank.
New Exhaust System complete
New Cooling System radiator & water pump
New Cooling Hoses
Reconditioned steering box
New Steering Joints

Original Landrover Swivel Housings (chrome balls as new) New Bearings and seals all round.
New Axle Pinion Oil Seals
New Axle Lubricants. Differentials replaced with reconditioned units.
Complete New Borg& Beck Clutch Assembly
Gearbox casing gaskets all replaced
New clutch master and slave cylinders
New Clutch Hydraulic Hose
New Output Shaft Seals.
New Transmission Lubricants
Free wheel hubs fitted
Suspension:
New Soft Riding Parabolic Springs Front & Rear
New Shock Absorbers Front & Rear
New Axle Bump Stops
Wheels & Tyres
Wheels sandblasted and sprayed in two pack Limestone.
Tyres 5 x Michelin XZL
Braking System:
New master cylinder
New Brake Cylinders Front & Rear

New brake shoes including handbrake shoes
New Copper Brake Pipes Throughout
Electrics:
new Auto sparks full wiring loom
New Side, Tail & Indicator Lamps (fronts are Lucas glass)
New Halogen Headlamps
New smiths temp gauge and oil pressure gauge
Body:
The bulkhead only required A posts and footwells. Original spec footwells & A posts welded in.
New Complete Front Doors and glass
New front wing skins
New battery box in seat base
Original tailgate in great condition
All cappings re-galvanised

New Door Locks with same Keys
New wing Mirrors
Interior:
New Exmoor Trim seats
New rear bench seats
Full bare metal respray after whole body sand blasted. Finished in two pack Pastel Green with Limestone Wheels
New Exmoor Trim sand canvas hood
Hard top available if required.
This vehicle is great to drive with a quiet drive line. Passed MOT first time with no advisories.
