Refreshed to exact original ex-factory condition in Germany by respected classic BMW specialists Siebenrock, using many genuine new parts down to the correct specification tyres (parts receipts available). The quality is exceptional (only the panniers are not as new).
The bike was imported to the UK in 2015 and first registered in the UK in 2016. It is fitted with a UK spec milometer which reads 3 miles and has been stored in showroom conditions. The engine has been periodically run and brought up to temperature, it naturally starts on the button and happily settles into an idle.
This bike kick started the adventure genre; the godfather to the ever popular BMW GS and in rare Paris Dakar guise enjoyed competition success - qualities that can only make future values go in one direction. Unlike its peer RC30's and 916's prices are still sensible!
I purchased the bike with the plan of undertaking a RTW tour on a classic bike, but my plans have since changed. It really needs to be enjoyed for the purpose it was designed for.
