This wonderful old Land Rover Series 2a was registered by the Royal County of Berkshire on 24th July 1968 as RRX 833F.
Chassis number 24133783D.
Bronze green.
Tax exempt.
Mot'd until 21st October 2017
For some reason it was shipped to Devon and stayed there all its life until I repatriated it to Berkshire where it started off!
I have the history of all its owners from new.
MOT history from 2000 when it was showing 57371 miles now showing 64882 so 7500 miles in 17 years!
It is really original and has not been molested like some.
Original 2. 25 petrol engine which starts on the key and sounds lovely.
Gearbox and clutch good and drives well.
The chassis has been welded in the past and is sound and waxoyled.
The bulkhead has been repaired in the past in the footwells and is sound.
Elephant hide seats front and rear so a 7 seater.
Older soft top canvas in good order.
Free wheeling hubs
Rebuilt braking system recently
Parabolic springs for a smoother ride (relatively!)
This will be a great fun vehicle for taking the kids/ dogs out and about or throwing some logs in the back.
It has never been restored just kept on the road every year so has a lovely patina of age related marks and use.
