Originally from Montanna, the truck was rebuilt over a period of 14 months, and has had occasional use since last August. It's registered in the UK.
The body has undergone a bare metal respray, along with the chassis. The trucked has been replaced with pitch pine. Only one piece of welding needed to be done ! (in the cab, under the driver's feet). Brakes have been rebuilt, electrics converted to 12v with a new wiring harness. Rebuilt propshaft, high torque starter motor, rebuilt carburetta, new distributor, new alloy radiator, new exhaust manifolds. The engine is a Ford/ Simca flathead v8 in great condition and runs well. Seats have been professionally reupholstered, and the cab soundproofed.
