Description
The Opel Kadett C GT/ E was launched in August 1975.
It was equipped with an 1897cc engine with a «Bosch D-Jetronic» fuel injection that produced 105hp, 4-speed gearbox (or 5 speed as an option) and a self-locking differential.
Thanks to the excellent performance of the engine and a dynamic behavior of reference, it was a car widely used in the competition, being often nicknamed “Anti Escort” due to fights with the Ford Escort for the top places in several international races.
Between 1975 and 1977 8660 units of the Kadett GT/ E were produced, all with the bicolor paint yellow / black.
This rare Kadett GT/ E has been rigorously restored, with photographic dossier of the entire restoration process, and is in immaculate condition.
